Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Ask MyPAi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. Together, these documents form the complete agreement between you and PSAI Technologies FZC regarding your use of the App.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of the Service
Ask MyPAi is a voice-powered productivity application that helps you capture, organize, and gain insights from your spoken thoughts using artificial intelligence. The App provides the following capabilities:
2.1 Voice Capture and Transcription
- Record voice notes between 30 seconds and 10 minutes in duration
- Automatic speech-to-text transcription (processing may occur on your device or in the cloud depending on recording length and audio quality)
- Transcript editing with undo/redo capability
2.2 AI Processing and Structured Content
- Automatic AI-powered structuring of transcripts into organized content (titles, key points, summaries, action items, decisions, meeting minutes, idea breakdowns)
- AI-powered transcript correction to fix phonetic speech-to-text errors
- Automatic context detection (Work/Personal) applied to each capture
- Intent-specific output based on your selection before recording (General Note, Meeting Minutes, Ideas, or Reminder)
2.3 Library and Search
- Searchable library of all your captures with full-text keyword search
- Filtering by intent type, with ability to combine search and filters
- Capture detail view with structured content display, original transcript, and audio playback
- Share, edit, and delete captures
2.4 Insights and Analytics
- Daily and weekly AI-generated insights analyzing themes, action items, productivity patterns, and highlights
- Related notes discovery using AI to surface connections between captures
2.5 Reminders and Notifications
- Reminder intent that extracts dates, times, and reminder text from your spoken words
- Local device notifications for reminders with snooze and completion options
- Processing completion notifications
2.6 Customer Support
- Searchable FAQ system within the app
- AI-powered live chat support (session-only; conversations are not saved)
- Feedback forms and support ticket submission
2.7 Important Limitations
- Audio recordings are automatically deleted from your device after 90 days. You can delete them sooner.
- The App requires microphone permission to function. Speech recognition permission is additionally required on iOS.
- A minimum of 50 MB free storage is required on your device for recording.
Accounts and Authentication
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to use the App. Registration requires an email address and password. First name is optional but used to personalize your experience.
Password requirements: Minimum 10 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, at least one number, and at least one special character.
3.2 Email Verification
Your account must be verified via a 6-digit one-time password (OTP) sent to your email address before you can use capture features. OTP codes expire after 10 minutes. You may request up to 5 OTP codes per hour.
3.3 Biometric Authentication
You may optionally enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or Fingerprint) for faster login. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system and is never transmitted to our servers.
3.4 Session Security
- Sessions are stored in device memory only and are not persisted to disk
- If the App is in the background for more than 5 minutes, you will be required to re-authenticate
- After 5 failed login attempts within 15 minutes, your account will be temporarily locked for 15 minutes
3.5 Your Responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them
- Notify us immediately at support@askmypai.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Plans

4.2 Trial Period
- Your 7-day free trial begins automatically upon email verification
- You receive full access to all Pro features during the trial
- When your trial expires, your account transitions to the Free tier unless you subscribe to Pro
- Your existing captures and data remain accessible regardless of your plan
4.3 Billing and Renewal
- All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store account settings
- We do not receive or store your payment card information
4.4 Payment Issues and Grace Period
If your subscription payment fails (e.g., expired card), you have a 7-day grace period during which you retain full access. After the grace period, your account reverts to read-only access until payment is resolved. Your data is preserved throughout.
4.5 Refunds
Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as they process all payments. We are unable to process refunds directly.
4.6 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price increases.
Acceptable Use
5.1 You Agree Not To:
- Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Record or upload content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Upload harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other user accounts, or our systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App to send spam, unsolicited communications, or for any form of abuse
- Circumvent or interfere with security features of the App, including device integrity checks
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the App
- Exceed rate limits (including 5 OTP requests per hour, 20 AI chat messages per hour, 5 support tickets per day)
- Attempt to manipulate AI outputs through prompt injection or similar techniques
5.2 AI Content Disclaimer
AI-generated content (including structured notes, insights, transcript corrections, and context detection) may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should:
- Review all AI-generated content before relying on it
- Not treat AI output as professional advice — the App does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other form of professional advice
- Verify important information independently, especially action items, decisions, dates, and deadlines
We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated content.
Your Content
6.1 Ownership
6.2 License to Us
By using the App, you grant PSAI Technologies FZC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, transmit, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Ask MyPAi service. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account.
6.3 AI Processing of Your Content
You acknowledge and consent to the following AI processing of your content:
- Your transcripts are sent to third-party service providers for structuring, analysis, and related notes discovery
- AI may modify your transcripts to correct speech-to-text errors (original versions are preserved)
- Your captures are analyzed in aggregate to generate daily and weekly insights
- Your capture content is analyzed to automatically detect context (Work/Personal)
6.4 What We Do Not Do With Your Content
- We do not use your identifiable content to train AI models
- We do not share your content with third parties for advertising or marketing
- We do not sell your content
- We do not make your content available to other users
Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our full Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, store, and protect your data.
Key points relevant to these Terms:
- Voice recordings are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers
- Text transcripts and AI-processed content are encrypted and synced to secure cloud servers
- Cloud processing of your data may occur in regions where our service providers operate
- We collect approximate location (country/region) from your IP address during registration
- Biometric authentication data never leaves your device
- All data in transit and at rest is encrypted using industry-standard methods
Account Deletion and Data Portability
8.1 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account.
What happens when you delete your account:
- All cloud-stored data is permanently and irreversibly deleted (transcripts, structured content, insights, support tickets, and account information)
- Local data (voice recordings, cached content, reminder schedules) remains on your device until you uninstall the App
- This action cannot be undone
- Any active subscription will continue until the end of the current billing period (manage cancellation through your app store)
8.2 Data Export
Before deleting your account, you can request a complete export of your data by emailing privacy@askmypai.com.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party service providers for AI processing, speech-to-text transcription, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies, and under data processing agreements with us.
In-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms.
The App may include or link to third-party open-source software components. Such components are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.
Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, algorithms, branding, logos, trademarks ("Ask MyPAi," "MyPAi"), user interface, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to PSAI Technologies FZC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from any part of the App or its intellectual property without our prior written consent.
10.2 Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the App, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Service Availability and Changes
11.1 Service Availability
We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or to address security concerns.
11.2 Service Changes
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time. Where practicable, we will provide advance notice of material changes. If we discontinue the App entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and allow you to export your data before shutdown.
11.3 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
Disclaimers
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or reliable
- Transcription will be error-free
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- Defects will be corrected in a timely manner
Limitation of Liability
- PSAI Technologies FZC's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
- In no event shall PSAI Technologies FZC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
- These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory of the claim (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PSAI Technologies FZC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
- Content you record, upload, or create through the App
- Your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials
Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@askmypai.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation within 30 days.
15.2 Arbitration
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) under its applicable arbitration rules. The arbitration shall be conducted as follows:
- Seat of arbitration: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Number of arbitrators: One (1)
- Language: English
- Governing procedural law: DIAC Arbitration Rules (current version at the time of filing)
- Cost allocation: Each party shall bear its own costs, and the arbitrator's fees shall be split equally unless the arbitrator determines otherwise
The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
15.4 Exceptions
The following claims are excluded from arbitration and may be brought in court: (a) claims for injunctive or equitable relief related to intellectual property infringement; (b) claims falling within the jurisdiction of small claims courts.
15.5 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), United Arab Emirates. To the extent that any dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 15.2, the courts of the DIFC shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Termination
16.1 By You
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account (Settings > Account > Delete Account). Any active subscription continues until the end of the current billing period.
16.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, without prior notice, if:
- You materially breach these Terms
- Your use of the App poses a security risk or could cause harm to other users or our systems
- We are required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process
- Your account has been inactive for an extended period (we will notify you before deletion)
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Sections 6 (Your Content — ownership), 10 (Intellectual Property), 12 (Disclaimers), 13 (Limitation of Liability), 14 (Indemnification), 15 (Dispute Resolution), and 17 (General Provisions).
General Provisions
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PSAI Technologies FZC regarding the App, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
17.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. A waiver of any provision is only effective if made in writing and signed by us.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
17.5 Force Majeure
PSAI Technologies FZC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, war, terrorism, labor disputes, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service provider outages.
17.6 Export Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import control laws and regulations. You shall not use or export the App in violation of any applicable sanctions or trade control laws.
17.7 Notices
We may provide notices to you via email (to the address associated with your account) or through in-app notifications. Notices to us should be sent to support@askmypai.com.
